Community members earn credits by operating the community center programs.
Jobs include tutoring, community store clerk, credit accounting, kitchen operations, and general cleaning and maintenance of the center and nearby primary school.
The credits can be redeemed for donated goods found in the community center store. Items include clothing, household goods, food, furniture and tools.
Additionally the children can redeem credits in the community center kitchen for fruit and cereal which is generally available there.
Completion of 200+ hours of tutoring can be redeemed for cash payments for school fees.
